I’ve founded and co-founded a handful of award winning and longstanding independent outlets, learning directly what works and what doesn’t, understanding fully the pressures that operators face. Whether being asked to consult or design, I’ve been invited to apply this know-how further afield, relying on a deep working knowledge of the industry. 

Venues & Events

To date, the various venues that I’ve designed have hosted around 10,000 performances. With a passion for live music, I have unique insights as customer, performer and operator, and have experienced first hand the inner workings of a wide range of venues internationally. These insights have helped to inform designs for pop up events, venues for intimate balconied listening performances, as well as large venue gigs.

Shops & Trade Shows

I have recently been invited to design a range of stores for a popular deli and health food outlet. Previously we’ve also worked on independent shop fit-outs, as well as trade show designs for household name brands, for their international exhibits.
