This project focused on quality craftsmanship and straightforward, honest materials, with skilled work from subcontractors like Oli Hallett on the crittal foyer and Dovetail on the flitched beam awning. Key areas, like kitchen passes and bar stations, were designed for smooth functionality.

The design honored the original structure’s lines and open-plan layout, while new plantings, finishes, and artwork added warmth and character.

Sustainability was a priority, using 100% recycled materials, including recycled plastic sheeting, and locally sourced chestnut and larch. A full carbon audit is also underway.
